On November 2, Sovcomflot took delivery of three product carriers built by STX Shipbuilding Co. (Korea), Sovcomflot’s press center reports. Ice-class tankers are designed for marine transportation of oil products from Russian ports of the North-Western and Far-Eastern regions. The lead vessel of the series (SKF Neva) is already deployed for transportation of oil products from the Vitino port (Murmansk region). The new tankers are to serve export flows of Russian oil companies Gazpromneft and Rosneft. The tankers are capable of carrying up to 6 different types of oil products.
