Moscow is planning to complete talks on Russia's accession to the World Trade Organization (WTO) before the year-end, Igor Neverov, head of the North America department at the Russian Foreign Ministry, told reporters today. He pointed out that Russia had already completed talks with the US and had signed all the necessary documents. Neverov added that trade between Russia and the US was growing steadily, adding that it had doubled over the past five years to reach $25bn.
