In January-October 2007, Vostochny Port OJSC handled 14.089.6 million tonnes (+4%, year-on-year), the port’s press center reports. In October 2007, the port handled 1.440.6 million tonnes of different cargo (+96%, year-on-year). In October, Multi-purpose Production-and-Transshipment Complex (PPК-1) handled 46,800 tonnes of different cargo (+46%, year-on-year). In the 10-month period, PPК-1 handled 976,300 tonnes (+100%, year-on-year). Throughput of Specialized Coal Complex (PPК-3) totaled 1.393.8 million tonnes of cargo in October 07 (+99.5%, year-on-year) and 13.113.4 million tonnes of coal in January-October 07 (+4%, year-on-year).
