Aker Kvaerner said it has been awarded two drilling equipment contracts by Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering in Korea, worth a combined 213 mln usd.
The first deal is for a single drillship, while the second is for a semi-rig, the Norwegian engineering firm said.
'The semi rig is to be delivered third quarter 2010 and the drillship is scheduled for delivery fourth quarter of 2010,' it added.
