Throughput of Tuapse Commercial Seaport down 6% in Jan-Oct 07, y-o-y

In January-October 2007, Tuapse Commercial Seaport OJSC controlled by Novolipetsk Steel OJSC decreased its throughput by 6%, year-on-year, to 16.66 million tonnes, Interfax reports according to Yuga.Ru. Transshipment of dry cargo totaled 4.9 million tonnes (-18%), oil and oil products – 11.7 million tonnes (-0.5%). The decrease should be attributed to industrial dispute initiated by trade unions, the port’s press center says.
