Net profit of Novoship up 31.4% in Jan-Sep 07, y-o-y

In January-September 2007, net profit of Novoship under International Accounting Standards grew by 31.4%, year-on-year, to $184 million, the company’s financial report reads according to RZD-Partner referring to Interfax. According to the document, net profit growth is driven by the sale of 11 vessels for $42 million. Besides, by the end of the year the company will acquire six new Aframax tankers. The group’s proceeds from the fleet operation grew by 12% - to $462 million, operating profit – by 5.5%, to $246 million.
