In January-August 2007, Mariupol Commercial Seaport (Ukraine) handled 14,548 tonnes of cargo (+10%, year-on-year), the port’s press center reports according to RBC. In October 2007, the port handled 1,463 tonnes including 711,400 tonnes of metal (48.6%), 205,000 tonnes of coal and coke (14%), 276,100 tonnes of clay (18.9%), 142,200 tonnes of sulfur (9.7%), 33,800 tonnesof grain cargo (2.3%), 95,400 tonnes of other cargo (6.5%).
