Russian Railways net profit projections announced

Russian Railways' net profit is expected to amount to RUR26.6bn (approx. USD1.08bn) in 2010, Russia's Deputy Transportation Minister Alexander Misharin told journalists Wednesday according to RBC. Net profit is projected at RUR76bn (approx. USD3.1bn) in 2007, RUR16.4bn (approx. USD669m) in 2008, and RUR16.2bn (approx. USD660m) in 2009.

According to Misharin, Russian Railways' revenue will stand at RUR957bn (approx. USD39bn) in 2007, and is estimated to reach RUR1.075 trillion (approx. USD43.83bn) in in 2008, RUR1.194 trillion (approx. USD48.68bn) in 2009, and RUR1.318 trillion (approx. USD53.73bn) in 2010.

The company's expenditure is predicted to amount to RUR895bn (approx. USD36.49bn) in 2007, RUR1.004 trillion (approx. USD40.93bn) in 2008, RUR1.128 trillion (approx. USD45.98bn) in 2009, and RUR1.281 trillion (approx. USD52.22bn) in 2010.
