German rail logistics firm VTG AG said it bought Tankspan Leasing Ltd, a UK tank container leasing company, from Pacific States Marine Ltd, to capitalise on growing demand for container transport of chemicals and gases.
Financial details were not disclosed in VTG's statement today. Tankspan Leasing Ltd had sales of 8.5 mln usd (6 mln eur) in the 12 months through January, VTG said.
