Russia plans to stay out of the CIS agreement on the oil and petrochemicals transit policy that was signed in 1996, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said according to Interfax.
"As to the document, a proposal concerning Russia's intention not to become party to the agreement has been submitted to the government," Lavrov said at the Federation Council on Friday.
