35 people from sunken timber carrier rescued in the Sea of Japan

Thirty-five people from the Kastor-1 timber carrier that sank on Sunday were rescued in the Sea of Japan, Itar-Tass reports.

Twenty-three people drifting on life rafts were rescued on November 18. The Captain Konev tanker of the Far East shipping company spotted a life raft with 12 Kastor-1 crewmembers and rescued them, the Vladivostok maritime rescue center reported on Monday.
