Strike called at French ports

The French port workers' union, the Confédération Générale du Travail (CGT), has called for a 24-hour work stoppage at all the country's ports.
Fos, Lavera, Dunkirk, Le Havre and Donges are expected to see delays in loading and unloading vessels.
The strikes are part of nationwide industrial unrest triggered by government plans to reform pensions and other benefits for workers in the transport and energy saectors.
Elsewhere, a labour dispute at Israel's Haifa port has been announced by the Histadrut labour organization.
It is threatening to strike on Thursday next week (November 29).
