Russia reports decline in natural gas production

Russia's natural gas production fell 1.3 percent to 532bn cubic meters between January and October 2007 compared to the same period a year earlier, the Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat) reported according to RBC. Output slid 1.2 percent in October against the same month in 2006, but rose 1.1 percent from September 2007. Rosstat did not post a production figure for October 2007.
