In January-October 2007, transportation of Russian cargo via Byelorussia totaled 7.1 million tonnes (+27%, year-on-year), RBC quotes Aleksandr Shpilevski, chairman of Byelorussian State Customs Committee as reporting at an international conference dedicated to problems of border crossings at the North and North-West of Russia.
