Customs House Brokerage (CHB), a new unit of OOCL Logistics (China) Ltd has commenced operations, and is now engaged in handling import-export goods, acting as a bridge between customs and clients as well as offering related services and assistance to clients making customs declarations.
OOCL Logistics is the first carrier-based foreign logistics company to set up a customs brokerage in China. Dedicated customs declaration service enables OOCL Logistics to offer more comprehensive value-added services, said a company statement.
