Port of Liepaja (Latvia) to cooperate with port of Harlingen (Netherlands) in container transportation

By the end of the week, the port Liepaja (Latvia) will sign a contract on cooperation with the port of Harlingen (Netherlands), a source in PR department of Liepaja reports ac RZD-Partner. Representatives of the port of Harlingen visited Liepaja in September 2007. They expressed their interest in development of container transportation and in possibilities of logistics chains linking Liepaja with Russia, Asia and Europe. The port of Harlingen specializes in container transportation.
