North Sea SECA in full effect from November 22

Ships operating in the North Sea must comply with new exhaust standards from November 22, as the full implementation of SECA (Sulphur Emissions Control Area) enters. This means that all ships entering the area must run on bunker fuel with a less than 1.5 per cent sulphur content. SECA in the Baltic Sea Area was implemented already in May 2006.
