Throughput of Vladivostok Container Terminal up 34% in Jan-Oct 07, y-o-y

In January-October, 2007, Vladivostok Container Terminal (VCT LLC) handled 160,259 TEU (+34%, year-on-year), VCT press center reports. The volume of export containers handled by VCT in the reported period grew by 51 % to 63,563 TEU, import – grew by 45% to 58,364 TEU, coastal trade cargo – 38,332 TEU (+3 %). Empty/loaded container ratio was 45.71% against 54.29 % respectively.

In October, the terminal handled 19,490 TEU (+46%, year-on-year) including 8,393 TEU of export containers (+68 %, year-on-year), import – 6,812 TEU (+41 %, year-on-year), coastal trade cargo – 4,285 TEU (+23 %).
