On November 26, Administration of Sea Port of St. Petersburg received an official notification on termination of the strike by the employees of technical department of Forth Stevedoring Company responsible for servicing of the handling equipment and mechanisms, the company’s press center informs. Thus, all the employees of Sea Port of St. Petersburg resumed operation at their work places.
On November 22, 2007, St. Petersburg Transport Prosecutor’s Office warned Aleksandr Moiseyenko, Chairman of the Port Committee of Russian Port Worker’s Trade Union, and the heads of trade unions of First, Second and Forth Stevedoring Companies about inadmissibility of law infringement. On November 21 the strike was terminated by the dock workers of Forth Stevedoring Company. Employees of Second Forth Stevedoring Company resumed operation on November 19, 2007, the personnel of First Stevedoring Company – on November 17, according to the ruling of St. Petersburg municipal court.
