Russian-Finnish trade has been developing at a fast pace. In 2006 bilateral trade amounted to 13 billion euro, while it is expected to total 15 billion euro in 2007, Russian Prime Minister Viktor Zubkov said at a meeting with Finnish Prime Minister Matti Vanhanen, Interfax reports.
"Positive shifts have been witnessed in the area of investment cooperation," Zubkov said.
Russia would like to discuss cooperation not only in traditional areas at the today's meeting, Zubkov said. "We are interested in promising interaction in the areas hi-tech and nanotechnology. Moreover, we would like to hear about Finland's experiences of innovative development," Zubkov said.
