Volkswagen built the new plant in Kaluga

Volkswagen launched the new Kaluga-based plant in operation, the company informed.
In 2008 about 66ths cars are to be produced; in 2009 the second stage should be finished.
Russia is a strategic market for Volkswagen and Skoda.
Volkswagen intends to invest 500mln euro in Russia, all in all.
