Russia’s Gazprom Neft, the oil subsidiary of Gazprom, has registered a new company – Gazpromneft-Yamal that will serve as the operator for exploration of oil fields of the gas giant and its subsidiaries, Gazprom Neft press service said on Monday according to Itar-Tass.
The first test production will be launched at the Tazovskoye and Novoportovskoye fields, which exploration licences are owned by Yamburggazodbycha and Nadymgazprom.
Gazprom Neft plans to begin test exploration of the Tazovskoye and Novoportovskoye fields in 2009-2010, the Prime-Tass business news agency said.
