Ukrainian shipping company Ukrferry has opened new service route for transportation of containers to Georgia, New Region reports. The first vessel at the route Iljichevsk-Poti-Iljichevsk was Libra flying the flag of Malta.
Railferry service Iljichevsk-Poti-Iljichevsk has been operating from 1996. Every week sea port of Poti accepts Geroi Shipki, Geroi Plevny and Greifsvald ferries. They deliver passengers, railway cars and containers. Libra will specialize on transportation of containers once a week.
