Officers of the Khasan customs in the Primorye territory have opened an administrative case against a North Korean shipping company over an attempt to smuggle fuel from Russia, Interfax reports.
Over 116 cubic meters of fuel which was not listed in customs and ship's documents were found in an inspection aboard a North Korean ship that was settling customs export formalities, the press service of the Far East Customs Department told Interfax.
"Customs officers noticed that the bow submerged lower than the water line. This indicated that the bow was overloaded," the press service said.
