70 logistic complexes to be built in Russia

In Russia 70 transport-logistic complexes having 100mln ton in capacity will be built, transportation ministry informed.
The development of the large nodes will be based upon the regional clusters which can pretend to be transport logistic center including Moscow, St.Pb., Kaliningrad, Kazan, Astrakhan, Ekaterinburg, Rostov-na-Donu.
The program will demand large investments covering 4.8% GDP; the state federal investments accounting for 2.2% GDP. It is included into the Transportation Strategy of Russia developed till 2020.
Now the main development instrument is the Federal target program for the transportation system modernization till 2010.
