Finland has its own plans concerning the route of the NordStream gas pipeline project and has announced that it is not interested in joining the project according to Interfax.
"We have our wishes concerning the gas pipeline route. I am convinced that Sweden, too, will have its wishes regarding the route. But I would like to make it a point that Finland is not interested in increasing Russian gas imports and is not interested in joining the construction of the NordStream gas pipeline," Finnish Ambassador to Russia Harri Helenius said at a news conference in Moscow on Wednesday.
