In January-November 2007, port transshipment complex Western Terminal handled 337,375 cubic meters of cargo (+259,401 cubic meters, or 4.3-fold increase), press center of Oslo Marine Group informs.
Western Terminal LLC has been acquired by Oslo Marine Group in 2007 for activities diversification and development of the Group’s multi-purpose structure in St. Petersburg and Leningrad region. Western Terminal has two terminals in Ekateringofski basin of Big Port of St. Petersburg. It specializes in transshipment of dry bulk cargo. From September 2007, the company services about 15 vessels per month with export transshipment of 50,000 cubic meters of timber.
