In January-November 2007, the port of Sillamae (Estonia) handled 1.69 million tonnes of cargo, RZD-Partner reports. According to the source, the harbor opened in 2006 operated for only five months. It handled general cargo, petrochemical and chemical cargo. In October in handled 123, 920 tonnes of cargo, in November – 178,320 tonnes. In the reported period the port services 22,721 passengers. In 2006, the port’s throughput totaled 669,618 tonnes of cargo.
