The Russian government has approved a Russian-Kazakh-Turkmen agreement to launch a project to lay what will be called the Pre-Caspian Gas Pipeline, Deputy Prime Minister Sergei Naryshkin announced on Monday according to Interfax.
"The agreement deals with matters relating to carrying out the feasibility study for the project. The project is due to start being put into practice in the second half of 2008," Naryshkin said at a conference chaired by President Vladimir Putin.
