Russia's oil exports grow

Russian oil exports amounted to about 199.383m tonnes in January-October, up 4.6 percent compared to the same period a year earlier, Russia's Federal Customs Service (FTS) reported today according to RBC. Oil exports grew 10.3 percent in money terms to around $90.422bn. Exports to countries outside the CIS amounted to 184.986m tonnes worth a total of $85.047bn and those within the CIS reached 14.396m tonnes worth nearly $5.375bn.

According to the Federal State Statistics Service, oil and gas condensate production increased 2.4 percent to 409bn tonnes from January to October 2007 against the same period of the previous year. Oil production is expected to reach 480m tonnes in 2007, up 2.08 percent compared with the previous year's figures, the Russian Industry and Energy Ministry estimates.
