South Korea's Hyundai Heavy Industries has launched a new 104,000-dwt tanker ordered by Russia's Primorsk Shipping Corporation (PRISCO), a company spokesperson said on Tuesday according to RIA Novosti.
She said the Zaliv Amerika is a 1A ice class tanker according to DNV (Det Norske Veritas) classification, which enables it to operate in non-Arctic freezing seas.
The head tanker was given the name of the bay where the city of Nakhodka and PRISCO are located.
