Russia’s agricultural watchdog has imposed a temporary ban on poultry imports from Germany’s Oberhavel, Brandenburg, over a bird flu outbreak, Rosselkhoznadzor secretary Alexei Alexeyenko said on Wednesday according to Itar-Tass.
Russia bans the import of live poultry, incubation eggs, poultry meat and all types of poultry products that were not subjected to thermal treatment, including fluff, feathers, fodder and fodder supplements, as well as second-hand poultry equipment.
