FAS permits Gazpromneft to acquire a 50% stake in OAO Tomskneft

The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) has granted OAO Gazpromneft permission to acquire a 50% stake in OAO Tomskneft, Gazprom Neft's official spokesperson Natalia Vyalkina told Oil Information Agency (OIA). "Today Gazprom Neft has been granted permission from FAS to execute a transaction to buy Tomskneft shares", she said. The company did not specify when the transaction is to be finalized. Gazprom Neft was reported last week to have petitioned FAS to acquire 50% of Tomskneft VNK from OAO Rosneft.
