Beijing trade value up 53.5pc in first 5 months
Beijing's cumulated foreign trade value shot up 53.5 per cent up to US$110.1 billion in the first five months of this year, Logistics Week reported.
Export value went 21.3 per cent up to $22.3 billion. Import value surged 64.6 per cent to $87.8 billion.
In May, Beijing's monthly trade value surged 71.9 per cent year on year to $25.2 per cent. Its export value for the first time surpassed $5 billion and rose to $5.3 billion, up 31.2 per cent. Import value soared 87.5 per cent to $19.9 billion. Both the export and import value have set new records.
