11 tank-cars laden with heavy fuel oil derailed near the Apparatnaya station in Ekaterinburg. The tank-cars were not overturned, no oil leakage or casualties reported, the Russian Emergency Ministry statement said.
The incident, the report said, did not freeze traffic on the line. There is currently a team of Emergency Regional Ministry working at the scene. To eliminate the aftermath the railroad repair crew arrived as well. As of now all tank-cars have been placed on the rails, the emergency agency reported.
