By 2012, Volgograd Shipyard OJSC will build six dry cargo vessels of Tanais type for Azov-Don Shipping Company (ADP, Rostov-on-Don). According to Interfax, the vessels’ total value is to make $96 million. The launch of the first vessel of the series is scheduled for November 2008.
One more vessel of Tanais type was built to the order of ADP at Navashinskaya Shipyard (Okskaya Shipyard OJSC, Navashino region). It was put into operation and deployed for container transportation at Rostov-on-Don – Istanbul service from March 27, 2008.
