Cosco's 564-TEU Takeko calls first at Yantai on Japan-China short sea run
YANTAI Rising Dragon International Container Terminal Ltd. (YRDICTL) recently received Cosco's 564-TEU Takeko during the latter's maiden voyage to the mouth of the Bohai Sea in Shandong province.
The Takeko now calls YRDICT weekly, and joins the same sized Umeko in Cosco's Yantai-Lianyungang-Tokyo-Yokohama service.
"The opening of this shipping route offers great convenience to Chinese and Japanese foreign traders and improves the Yantai port," said Apollo Zhou, YRDICTL general manager.
YRDICTL is a subsidiary of Manila's International Container Terminal Services, Inc (ICTSI), a leading developer of international ports and terminals with a global port network spanning 11 countries in four continents.
