China's Zhanjiang Port throughput up 26% in eight months of 2008

The Zhanjiang port of Guangdong province achieved cargo throughput of 73.8 million tonnes in the first eight months of 2008, a 26.4 percent increase over the same period last year, NewsTrak Daily reported.
It is expected that the throughput of the port can exceed 100 million tonnes by year-end.
