UCLH’s MTA to manage stevedoring assets of UCL Port
Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) of Russia has allowed Managing Transport Assets LLC (the company of Transportation Group UCL Holding owned by Vladimir Lisin) to perform the functions of the sole executive body of stevedoring companies Sea Port St. Petersburg, CJSC Container Terminal Saint Petersburg, Universal Handling Terminal LLC and JSC Taganrog Commercial Sea Port, members UCL Port, a division of UCLH, the FAS said.
Dutch-registered Universal Cargo Logistics Holding (UCL Holding) is an international transportation group comprising a number of shipping, shipbuilding, railway, logistics and stevedoring companies based in Russia. The Group owns terminals at Sea Port Saint-Petersburg and Universal Handling Terminal in the North-West Russia; southern ports of Tuapse and Taganrog. UCLH is a majority owner of Volga-Balt Transport Holding (VBTH). The holding includes Volga Shipping, North-Western and Western Shipping (announced merger). All the companies are members of three divisions: the railway - UCL Rail, stevedoring - UCL Port and shipping - VBTH.
