Russian State Duma has ratified the Maritime Labour Convention, 2006, the lower house press office said.
The Convention provides for the rights of seafarers in the workplaces, which must conform to safety standards, fair employment, decent working and living conditions on board, health care, welfare services and other forms of social benefits.
