Rosneft bunkering operations in the first quarter 2012
Far East,
The first-quarter bunker sales volume by Rosneft in the Far East surged 34.2% compared to the same period of last year, to 295,900 tons, the company statistics said.
In this region, the company has contracts for the fuel supply with Maersk, Sakhalin Energy, Exxon, CMA CGM. The Company is also implementing the project to deliver bunker fuel at offshore bunkering location at the port of Korsakov (Sakhalin Island).
River bunker operations
When shipping on inland waterways was stopped, Rosneft continued bunker fuel deliveries in the estuarial ports of the Volga-Don basin - Astrakhan, Olya, Rostov-on-Don and Azov. The volume of bunker fuel supplied at these ports in the reporting period totaled 41,000 tons.
St. Petersburg
The Company is supplying at the Port St. Petersburg Tuapse fuel oil with sulfur content below 1%. The quarter sales volume amounted to 46,700 tons. In the reporting period, the first bunkering operations with foreign-flagged vessels were implemented at the Port of Ust-Luga port.
Southern Region
In the first quarter of 2012, total sales in the region reached 35,000 tons.
Arkhangelsk, Murmansk
Bunker fuel sales totaled 46,700 tons.
Bunker fuel sales to foreign shipowners
The overall volume under the contracts with non-residents in the first quarter of 2012 amounted to 251,700 tons.
