PSA, Tianjin Port strengthen ties
PSA International and Tianjin Port Group have agreed to strengthen ties and foster greater cooperation following the signing of a strategic cooperation framework agreement on Friday, Seatrade Asia online reports.
PSA and Tianjin Port currently have collaboration on port projects in China. Singapore's PSA invested in two of Tianjin Port's container terminals which together have 10 berths capable of handling large containerships.
“Both organisations recognise the tremendous potential of Tianjin Port as a major container hub port in the Bohai Rim to support the further development of industries and hinterland investments in Northeast China,” said Tian Chang Song, group president of Tianjin Port.
