Oil price up to $49.23 in London and to $49.66 in New York

In London, the Brent Crude contract was up $1.24 on March 31 to $49.23 per barrel on the ICE Futures exchange. Light Sweet Crude climbed $1.25 to $49.66 on the New York Mercantile Exchange, RBC reports.
