Oil price down to $48.44 in London and to $48.39 in New York

In London, the Brent Crude contract was down $0.79 on April 1 to $48.44 per barrel on the ICE Futures exchange. Light Sweet Crude fell $1.27 to $48.39 on the New York Mercantile Exchange, RBC reports.
