In 2008, net profit of Murmansk Commercial Seaport OJSC increased 6.6 times to RUR 970.841 mln, the company reports according to PRIME-TASS.
The increase of the company’s net profit should be attributed to the growth of tariffs for handling operations, the increase of local rates, handling of new types of high-price cargo, expansion of the range of services tailored to the consignee’s demands according to the requirements of the international market.
