Finnlines continues to redeploy tonnage due to the changed market situation. The large ro-pax ferry Europalink will be transferred from Nordö Link to Finnlines’ service between Helsinki and Travemünde, where all the five vessels of the Finnstar-class will be employed after that. From April 14 there will be nine sailings a week in each direction with vessels of this type.
On the Nordö Link-service between Malmö and Travemünde the Europalink is replaced by the Finneagle and the traffic frequency continues unchanged with three departures a day. Now trading for FinnLink between Naantali and Kapellskär, the Finneagle leaves for her last sailing in FinnLink’s traffic on April 10. The FinnLink-service continues thereafter with three sailings a day in each direction.
