Oil price up to $51.59 in London and to $49.38 in New York

In London, the Brent Crude contract was up $0.37 on April 8 to $51.59 per barrel on the ICE Futures exchange. Light Sweet Crude climbed $0.23 to $49.38 on the New York Mercantile Exchange, RBC reports.
