Oil price up to $54.06 in London and to $52.24 in New York

In London, the Brent Crude contract was up $2.47 on April 9 to $54.06 per barrel on the ICE Futures exchange. Light Sweet Crude climbed $2.86 to $52.24 on the New York Mercantile Exchange, RBC reports.
