Cosco Container Lines launched its Coscon Fuzhou-Southwest America Service, effective this month.
The Shanghai-based carrier said the first vessel in the service was the Cosco Qingdao that called Fuzhou on April 9.
“The direct service will effectively enhance the competitiveness of COSCON SEA Service and help customers in the Fuzhou region to reduce transport cost,” it said in an announcement.
The SEA port rotation is Fuzhou, Nansha, Hong Kong, Yantian, Xiamen, Long Beach, Oakland and back to Fuzhou.
