Shipbuilding and ship repair services of RF fishing companies could be exempt from VAT payment from 2010

Shipbuilding and ship repair services of fishing companies could be exempt from VAT payment. According to Vladimir Galitsin, Fishing Minister of Kamchatka Territory, this could be introduced into the Tax Code of the Russian Federation as early as in September 2009, Sever DV reports. A set of measures aimed at development of the onshore infrastructure of the fishing complex is to be elaborated in the nearest future and furnished to the RF Government meeting scheduled for May 14.
